Sleep under the Milky Way in a hard-shell geodesic dome perched on the side of a 100-foot volcanic hill in Terlingua, Texas — 11 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Space Pod 002 is a private desert escape with panoramic dome windows, your own fire pit, and nothing between you and one of the darkest skies in the country.

🚿 BATHROOMS — PLEASE READ

There is no bathroom inside the pod. Shared bathhouses are a short 2-minute walk (100–400 feet) — hot showers, indoor bathrooms at the top of the hill and outdoor ones at the bottom. We provide a towel, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

📍 LOCATION

On TX-118 in Terlingua: 11 minutes to Big Bend National Park, 5 minutes to Terlingua Ghost Town for restaurants, shops, mines, art, grocery and gas. Use Google Maps — Apple Maps gets lost out here. We're in an International Dark Sky area, so try to arrive before sunset on your first night and bring a flashlight.

💧 WATER

Our well water is non-potable, so bring drinking water or grab some in town. Water is precious in the desert — please keep showers short.

🐾 PETS

Welcome — $95 for up to 2. Leashed, on the trails, and never left alone in the pod. Unreported pets are charged $250.

🌵 BEFORE YOU BOOK

• Max 3 adults, or 2 adults + 2 kids — larger groups need a second pod

• Check-in 4–9pm (self check-in after 9pm with notice), check-out 11am

• Early check-in or late check-out $35 · date changes $50

• The pod sits on a hill — expect a short, sometimes steep walk up with your bags

• Wear proper shoes and stay on the trails

• Full house rules and liability waiver are provided at booking
